Available Dogs

Toby was rescued by a breeder who called Golden Retriever Rescue of Houston. Based on their assessment, he needed some immediate training before heading to a foster home.  While he was with me, he learned crate training, leash walking, obedience and confidence building.  We also started house training.  He's ready for adoption now!

Moe is a big blonde, playful puppy!  He is with Geronimo from Golden Beginnings for help with manners, boundaries, impulse control and frustration.  He's well on his way to being the best boy!  He has a sense of humor and thinks everything is a joke, and thinks he's so funny.  He's starting to take things a little more seriously but without loosing that sparkle in his eye...just how we like it!

Monty was abandoned in a cemetery in Kingwood.  But his rescue was not so cut and dry.  After a week with a foster it was obvious he need training to tackle his fear and gain trust.  After a couple months of rehab, he is ready for adoption to a family  with clear and easy handling and training protocols we have developed for him.  He's available through Golden Beginnings.

Meet Bruno!  He's a seasoned boy at 5 years old.  Unfortunately, his stay at Geronimo was his first experience with training, and as a big boy, he needed it!  After his time with us he has his allergies under control and gets along better with other dogs.  He knows his obedience commands and no longer pulls on the leash! 

Meet Achilles!  He's a Toller look-alike available through Toller Rescue Inc.  He came straight to me from an abusive home and he's been gaining confidence and trust every day.  He will be ready for foster or adoption soon! 

Simba is a one year old purebred Golden retriever.  He gets along with other dogs and needs a family to continue his training, preferably with another young dog to play with! He's a lower drive Golden and will become an awesome pet. He is available through Golden Retriever Rescue of Houston.

Colt is almost a year old and is struggling with anxiety and lack of training.  He's coming along very well and his rehab will be successful.  He will need a home with continued structure and training to build on the skills he's learning with us.  He's available through Golden Retriever Rescue of Houston. 

Kara is a purebred Golden Retriever puppy.  She was given to us with allergies, anxiety and would self-mutilate.  After taking her off of the host of drugs she was on, and allowing her to detox... she underwent our training and is doing so very well. Kara is ready for adoption and is available through Golden Beginnings.

Teddy has had a hard life.  He was rescued from and abandoned apartment, where he had been left in isolation for months while an eviction was finalized by the landlord.  He had several medical issues and terrible allergies which have been addressed... now we have been asked to heal his mind and heart. He is available through Houston Cocker Spaniel Rescue.

Balto has had it tough but will ALWAYS have a landing pad with Geronimo Kennels and Golden Beginnings.  He's a very active boy who needs structure as an only dog... just because of his past as a matador in a breeding kennel.  He will make an awesome companion for an active and engaged family.

Mason is a 10 month old pure bred Golden Retriever.  He's with us for work on obedience,  calming down,  and resource guarding.   He's much better but will need continued training in his new home. Available through GRRH.

June is a 40 lb. 7 month old Lab Mix dog up for adoption .  She is sweet as can be and gets along well with other dogs and people...she loves children!

We are working with her on confidnece and socialization because she was too attached to her littermate.  But she's coming along well and ready for her forever home! Located near Houston, Tx.
